These rules applicable to the public forum and private messages. Users found in violation of these rules will be warned in potentially banned. The staff reserve the right to punish members for content not explicitly stated in the following rules if it is found harmful to the well being of the site. There will be no spam - In all cases spam will either result in a warning or the content being moved to the correct area. Suspected spam bots will be instantly banned. ‘Spam’ includes everything within the following areas: Posting unreadable content - This means that all discussion must be written in English. In addition to that, posts must be able to be easily read. This means no posts containing excessive use of zalgo text, 1337 speak, capitalization, emoticons, punctuation, or anything else that obstructs reading the actual post. Posting content in the wrong area - The reason there are different areas is to keep everything neat and in order. Consistently posting irrelevant stuff in the wrong area will result in being directed to the correct area. If you accidentally submit something to the wrong area, you can contact a moderator to move it for you. This extends to posting threads with nondescriptive titles such as "Help me!", "I'm stuck!", or "I've got an error!". Flooding areas - Users repeatedly posting the same or similar posts will have the posts be removed. This extends to posting lots of large images that hinder actual conversation. Due to this, signatures must be of a reasonable size. Advertising and solicitation - Offering services on CultureSpawn will result in the removal of the post in question. This includes offering hosting services (charged and free), installation services, solicitation, etc... Respect other users - While CultureSpawn is not a hugbox, we still require a minimum level of respect among the users. Users found to be in violation to this rule will be warned, and in serious cases, banned. ‘Respect’ covers the following: Flaming, abuse, and harassment - Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. Continued harassment against a user will result in more severe punishments. If somebody requests a member to stop harassing them, they must oblige or consequences will follow. Respect the staff and their duties - Members are asked to not act as “back seat moderators”. If members note an issue which contravenes something in this policy document they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the staff. Please use the “post report” feature to report posts. Do not respond to such topics yourself. Members who constantly “act” as moderators may be warned. In addition to that, the moderating, support and other teams reserve the right to edit, remove or put on moderation queue any post at any time, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Staff Members and not users. Remember that this site is aimed at a general audience - Posting pornographic images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. This includes posting photographic depictions of gore and other real-world violence. Oblige any punishments - Users receive punishments for a reason, and the CultureSpawn staff team expects the punishments to be respected. Do not circumvent bans or warnings - Either through using another member's account or by creating a new account. Users helping banned members to continue posting on the website will also be punished. An extension of this rule is that alternate accounts with the same IP address will not be accepted on CultureSpawn, and will be banned. Warnings and bans apply to each account. You must be at least 13 years old to use CultureSpawn - In compliance with COPPA, users found to be under 13 years of age will be banned until their 13th birthday.
